The Ufer Group is committed to local community service. The Ufer family has made it a priority to give back to the community company founder Bob Ufer loved and served for all of his adult life. They established the Bob Ufer Memorial Scholarship Fund in 1983 and the Bob Ufer Foundation in 1997 to provide scholarships and support for Ann Arbor students and the Ann Arbor youth community.
David Ufer and has been a patron or sponsor of numerous area programs in the arts, athletics, scholarship and community development. He is the founder and benefactor of the Suzanne Ruth Springer Award Scholarship for college-bound Ann Arbor high-school students excelling as writers. Tom Ufer is active in his work with the Bob Ufer Foundation and the Bob Ufer Quarterback Club. Pam Ufer Wood also volunteers on an number of community boards.
